Even in manual mode, the gearshifts are quick and borderline fun. The 5-speed AMT gearbox is surprisingly smooth, timely and responds to throttle inputs quite well. Sitting at the budget end of the spectrum, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso AMT is arguably one of the best affordable automatics you can buy. As is true for most AMTs, the gearbox is smooth at part throttle inputs, but is slow and jerky when you need a quick build of speed. The Redigo is also offered with two engine options – a 54hp, 0.8-litre and a 68hp, 1.0-litre – with only the larger one being offered with an AMT. Even though there was a waiting period of 4 months and it proved worth waiting!Īfter 5000 km riding I can share the following pros n cons of Brezza vxi AT.ġ. Of course, the buying experience was fine with Maruti. The hot red new Brezza vxi AT was with me for the last six months. Some cons are that the suspension is on the stiffer side and the TPMS could have mentioned which specific tyre has a low pressure because after you see the warning, you have to go out and find which one has low pressure but other than that, great car and worth the money. The service of VW is good but when they delivered the car the gas tank was near empty considering it is a very premium brand they should have filled at least 3/4 of the tank and the tyre pressure was a bit low in the front tyres. The interior is also amazing as it has a nice and slick infotainment system with a digital tachometer and all the features you will ever need. It is also super nice with the blacked tail lights which make it look super sporty. It looks super minimalistic with black accents. The handling is super nice and the sound of the glorious VW engine is amazing.
I first drove the XUV which was good but had a bit of body roll but I had no issue. When I first took the car for a test drive I had this and the XUV 700 in mind. So I bought this as my first car for 22lakhs.
